Introducing my series of books dedicated to learning programming. We start from the ground up, explaining simple concepts, and as you move along, I’ll guide you through examples and exercises to tackle complex concepts. But all step by step, I promise!
You might wonder, “Why a book and not videos or online lessons?”. Here’s why:
- Books sharpen your wit. With no videos to watch, it’s just you and the text. This pushes you to put in the effort, to search, experiment, and research.
- No laziness. With a book, you move forward only if you truly understand and put in the effort.
- Read and re-read. A book is always there, ready for you, whenever you want.
- Cost? A book definitely costs less than a full online course. And if you already know some concepts, you can just pick the book that interests you.
We use Python as an example language, but the focus is on programming logic. Once you have these foundations, you can jump into any language you like.
Speaking of price, after taxes and expenses, what remains for me is about the price of a coffee. But that doesn’t mean I don’t put heart and passion into what I do. Writing books and keeping a site free of ads is my passion. And every book you buy? Well, it’s like offering me a coffee. That coffee that spurs me to write the next one.
